The 3rd Bridge Construction and Rehabilitation Center (Pathum Thani) has been assigned the duty and responsibility of constructing and rehabilitating bridges and reinforced concrete culverts in the Central, Eastern, and Western regions. The work is categorized as follows:

• Large bridge construction
• Construction of bridges with spans not exceeding 20 meters
• Reinforced concrete culvert construction
• Bridge rehabilitation and improvement, widening and lengthening, bridge surface repair
• Emergency repairs during the year, bridge pier repair, bridge elevation, construction of temporary steel bridges during floods
